The problem
For a small service business, a missed call is usually a lost job. Calls arrive while the team is working, after hours, or during a rush, and the caller moves on to the next business rather than leaving a voicemail.
The approach
The system answers calls the business cannot take, captures the caller details and the reason for the call, and writes the result into the CRM as a lead with the context attached. When a call is missed outright, an automatic text goes out immediately so the conversation continues in a channel the caller is likely to answer. The design goal is continuity: the caller reaches something useful on the first attempt rather than a voicemail box.
Tools
What it enables
- Calls that would otherwise go unanswered produce a captured lead with context.
- Follow-up begins immediately rather than whenever someone checks voicemail.
- Call outcomes land in the CRM automatically instead of on a notepad.
My role
I designed and built the system as the founder and operator of Hawk Eye AI.
